A Journey of Self-Discovery on the Path Toward Expanded Consciousness

Dearest reader-

It gives me great pleasure to introduce my most recent book, The Big Picture. It should serve to encourage an enlightening voyage of self-discovery toward expanded consciousness. This brief post offers up a taste of the book’s core ideas and deep insights. It is my hope that it provides readers a comprehensive exploration of life’s mysteries and the seemingly infinite potential that can be found within every one of us.

The Starting Point

The protagonist of the novel, a sixteen-year-old girl, is initially caught up in the unending drama of her parents’ lives. Frustrated and determined to intervene, she sets off on a personal mission for answers to some of life’s most important issues. This young seeker’s journey offers us, the reader, an opportunity to consider the manner in which we perceive the world as well as our place within it.

Discussions that Enlighten

Our protagonist explores the nature of reality through a series of fascinating discussions with diverse characters that include messengers, psychics, scientists, and healers. These interactions reveal significant truths about our actual selves as creators, souls, conscious beings, and ultimately, our own source of light in this world. Each exchange yields a distinct viewpoint that promotes a deeper understanding of ourselves, along with a more profound respect for the environment within which this enrichment is achieved.

Mysticism and Occultism – Blending Perspectives

In The Big Picture, my wife, Mina Mehrmand, and I combine our unique perspectives as Mystics and Occultists, respectively. Mina’s magical artwork, as featured on the cover illustration as well as on her website – minamehrmand.com – underscores the guidance it seeks to instruct the reader on. This partnership offers an elegant blending of vantage points. Mystics consequently become occultists and vice versa, resulting in a fuller and more thorough comprehension of the human condition.

A Worthy Cause

This project was conceived with the intention of providing assistance to underprivileged children in an effort to meet requirements that result from various individualized deficiencies. And it is our ongoing mission to enrich the quality of their lives in every way possible. As such, proceeds from the sale of these products will be allocated toward various charitable causes along with scholarship programs developed through our foundation – Mysteries of Reality.

The Influence of Words and Perception

Within The Big Picture, I discuss how gender designations are utilized throughout the text to affirm that the male voice has been adopted for convenience only and without any intention of excluding or marginalizing the experience of women. I also indicate the cyclical nature of gender in physicality to establish the fact that our genuine identities transcend these nominal characteristics. By remining open-minded, we proceed to welcome possibilities that go beyond our current understanding and foster a worldview that is more inclusive.

A Search for Knowledge

As a race of people and as individuals, we are constantly evolving. Therefore, our personal and collective consciousness is ever so progressively expanding through a mechanism of multiple incarnations. We explore this concept closely within the text since it challenges us to consider the specific lessons we are charged with the responsibility of addressing during this particular incarnation. With an open mind, we are very likely to decipher the signals directing us down our individualized path of self-discovery. The appropriate questions are waiting to be asked.

Life is a complicated tapestry of appearances and realities, principles and meanings. The Big Picture challenges our preconceptions, asking that we reconsider the illusion that has become truth along the way. It serves as a reminder that we are spiritual beings on a societal path of transformation.
